Nadine Coyle Launches Give Up Clothes For Good 2018 Campaign

Aideen (7) and Tommie (11) from Wicklow and Kildare Services joined Nadine Coyle to officially launch Give Up Clothes For Good 2018.

This year’s Give Up Clothes for Good campaign started with the spring peak taking place in TK Maxx stores during February.  Now in its 11th year, GUCFG is Ireland’s biggest and longest running clothing and homeware donation campaign. Each year TK Maxx encourages customers to donations their pre-loved clothing and goods in-store. These are then resold in Enable Ireland charity shops, generating much needed funds to support our services.

TK Maxx has been supporting Enable Ireland since 1997 and during that time, TK Maxx customers and associates have raised over €2.8 million and supported over 15,000 children and young people with disabilities and their families in our local communities.

Have you ever wondered what happens after you drop a bag of clothes into a TK Maxx store? Well wonder no more, because Deirdre O'Kane, Holly White and Triona McCarthy visited our services and charity shops to demonstrate what happens next when you Give Up Clothes for Good! Watch the video.

The campaign will continue all year round, with a second peak taking place in September.
