New Fundraising Appointments
by

Head of Fundraising, Joanne O’Hagan, and Director of Services Cork and Kerry, Terry Datson, are delighted to announce the appointment of Maria Desmond to Community Fundraising Manager Cork Region.

Having graduated with a B. Commerce, she went on to a marketing position with responsibility for sales and export in the retail sector. She then studied corporate identity as part of her thesis and completed an MSC Commerce.

This lead to her interest in market research and she set up a market research agency in 2000 with a wide variety of clients in retail, hospitality and local government. Before joining Enable Ireland Maria was Marketing Manager for a not for profit organisation in Limerick which provides homecare around Munster for older adults and people with disabilities.

We wish Maria well in her new role!

Danny from the Coronas Busking Session for Galway Services

It's not every day you run into Danny from the Corona's on Shop Street in Galway, but on 24 November you could catch an impromptu busking session outside the Enable Ireland shop!

If you missed it, you can catch the video on our Facebook page. Danny gave a stirring rendition of Hero's and Ghosts as Bearla agus as Gaeilge.

Massive thanks to Danny for the support!
