Universal Design Exhibition at the National Museum of Ireland Collins Barracks on display December 2016 - June 2017
The National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks is currently hosting an exhibition of product designs created as part of the community Design Challenge - a project by Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and Enable Ireland. The designs were co-created by students and expert Assistive Technology (AT) users – people with disabilities who are highly skilled in the use of assistive technology.
Head of Fundraising, Joanne O’Hagan, and Director of Services Cork and Kerry, Terry Datson, are delighted to announce the appointment of Maria Desmond to Community Fundraising Manager Cork Region.
Having graduated with a B. Commerce, she went on to a marketing position with responsibility for sales and export in the retail sector. She then studied corporate identity as part of her thesis and completed an MSC Commerce.
This lead to her interest in market research and she set up a market research agency in 2000 with a wide variety of clients in retail, hospitality and local government. Before joining Enable Ireland Maria was Marketing Manager for a not for profit organisation in Limerick which provides homecare around Munster for older adults and people with disabilities.
We wish Maria well in her new role!
