All monies raised in Cork stays here in Cork to benefit the 625 children and adults with physical and sensory disabilities and who avail of their free therapies and services. The money raised this year will go towards funding capital development and maintenance costs associated with the purchase a new site in Curraheen.  where a state of the art new children’s centre will be built.

Other fundraising income will be spent on a new bus for East Gate Adults Centre as our existing bus fleet which is aging and provides a vital service transporting our service users to and from Eastgate.

Rotary Tree of Remembrance

The tree of Remembrance which is organised by the Cork and Bishopstown Rotary Club will be located outside Brown Thomas from Saturday 6th December until Christmas Eve. All proceeds will go to Enable Ireland Cork The Samaratins and Marymount Hospice. Volunteers will hand out yellow ribbons for patrons to attach to the tree in memory of their loved ones. This is wonderful project to be associated at such a special time of year and we are looking for volunteers to help out in the run up to Christmas. If you are in a position to volunteer for the Tree of Remembrance simply contact Ann Harte, Fundraising Coordinator, Enable Ireland on 021 429 4434.

Annual Christmas Card Campaign

Our Christmas cards which are produced exclusively here in Cork are now available to buy in retail outlets throughout Cork.  The cards which are popular every year feature some local Cork scenes and images from Christmases past. The cards cost €6.00 for a pack of eight.

Why not take a box of Christmas cards and sell them from your place of work or to family and friends? email corkfr@enableireland.ie

Wear Your Christmas Jumper to Work

Alternatively, as almost everyone appears to have a dodgy Christmas jumper lurking in their wardrobe why not convince your colleagues to wear their jumper for one day only and make a donation to Enable Ireland.  This is a fun and hassle free way to raise money for Cork Services.
