Mia's Story

Mia's Story

My name is Gerard and my beautiful daughter Mia was born with MCMT, a very rare genetic brain disorder.

Mia was referred to the early intervention team at Enable Ireland and receives physiotherapy and occupational therapy, as well as a variety of supports to help her in her daily life.

Throughout her young life Mia has had a variety of ongoing issues and Enable Ireland have been with us at every step of the way, supporting not only Mia, but the whole family.

I would like to thank all the cyclists taking part in this year’s Ring of Kerry Charity. I know how much your efforts mean to all the charities. I’d also like to personally thank all the cyclists cycling for Enable Ireland and wish them a safe and enjoyable cycle.
