Since you heard from us last, we've been busy bees here at the Enable Ireland Centre on Seamus Quirke Road, developing our Multi Sensory Children’s Garden which officially opened with a spectacular garden party in October. 

The Garden would not be in existance today if not for the generous spirit and hard work of the people of Galway. Thank you! 

Working tirelessly throughout the months of June and July, our garden finally became a reality in October this year. It features raised planter beds, a hobbit house, water fountain, a large wall mounted chalk board, a bug hotel and eco system, play equipment and wind chimes.  The bright and colourful garden is a wonderful addition to our centre and we look forward to providing a space for children visiting Enable Ireland Galway to enjoy for many years to come.

We are gearing up for the festive season here in Enable Ireland Galway as we make one final push to raise much needed funds and achieve our fundraising target for 2014.  With yet another budget cut from the HSE in 2014, we are now more dependent than ever on fundraising and voluntary donations.

Money raised in 2014 will help us to continue to deliver an effective service to our children.
