Sincere thanks to the members and friends of the Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club who raised an unbelievable €19,320 for Enable Ireland Sandyford Services! The club has developed a strong relationship with service owners in our Sandyford Services, who last year took part in tennis sessions at the club and had a fantastic time over 20 weeks. In total, the members of Fitzwilliam raised over €38,000 to support their chosen charities Enable Ireland and GOAL Global at their recent fundraising event. We are so grateful to everyone who supported and we were delighted to attend the cheque presentation yesterday to thank the club members in person.

** We Are Hiring! ** “I find working in the day service is so inclusive. We get to sit down and set goals with the guys for things that they want to achieve or do.” Ian is a Team Leader at Enable Ireland Adult Services in Limerick. He shares what it’s like working with Enable Ireland. “Recently there was a service user who had been wanting to visit Amsterdam for years. I got to work with him before we left, helping him with planning, booking accommodation etc I went with him to provide support over there. Now Amsterdam is probably not the most wheelchair-friendly city so there were loads of challenges when we got there but it was a dream come true for him!” I would recommend Enable Ireland as an employer to friends and college mates. If you work hard you will find opportunities here to progress your career. That has been my experience.” You can read Ian’s full story here: https://lnkd.in/e-VPm5-k Enable Ireland makes a real difference in the lives of thousands of children and adults with disabilities.
