The official opening of the Universal Design Exhibition took place on Tuesday 24th January. The exhibition will remain on display at the National Museum, at Collins Barracks, until June 2017.
It showcases the co-creation design process between DIT product design students and expert assistive technology users.

TK Maxx Give Up Clothes for Good campaign in aid of Enable Ireland will kick off this year from 20 February 2017. TK Maxx associates will, once again, put all their efforts behind raising clothes and cash during the Spring campaign peak.
National radio and print ads will be used to promote the campaign once again, alongside visual displays in every store, celebrity endorsements and extensive online coverage.

Members of Ardrahan Camogie Club in Galway presented a cheque for €900 to Enable Ireland before Christmas.
Bernie Higgins, Treasurer, Marita Healy, Assistant Treasurer, Aisling Brennan PRO, and Michael Brennan Club Development Officer, made the presentation at the Christmas Memorial Tree to Clare Lenehan, who represented Enable Ireland.
This year, National Brain Awareness Week takes place 6-12th March and aims to raise awareness of the impact of living with a neurological condition. Registration is now open for events organised by members of the Neurological Alliance of Ireland, the national umbrella representing over thirty organisations working with people with neurological conditions and their families.
